Mont Blanc

Mont Blanc chose a GOTO Software custom-built solution to ensure total protection against spam.
Since it has incorporate MailCube appliance, no more spam pollute workers' inboxes.



Well-known as the creamy dessert french leader, Mont Blanc includes 200 workers who are split into its industrial site (Chef Dupont) and its sales department (Paris). The computing network manages 150 workstations.

Because of spam aggravation workers used to receive from 60 to 80 unsollicited emails each day. The company had a famous antivirus software but this was not enough against unlawful messages.

MailCube: an antispam appliance ensuring safety and availability of email service
Sébastien Morisse, from I.T. Department of Mont Blanc, decided to test several antispam solutions in order to choose the surest one and protect users workstations definitively against all kinds of electronic attacks. After looking for and testing these solutions, Sébastien Morisse chose MailCube from GOTO Software which could stop 95% of spam even before they reach the group's email server.

" MailCube A25 fully met our need in terms of cost, efficiency, mmédiacy and autonomy ", explains Sébastien Morisse. " Flexibility and simplicity of configuration enabled a quick integration which didn't need any modification in our email system. Updates are automatic and tehnical intelligence is totally assured by GOTO Software's R&D Department. In other words this antispam solution keeps being efficient around-the-clock and doesn't gather any internal resource. "

MailCube takes place in the industrial site of MontBlanc but its process is active in the whole network, including its site in Paris.

Mohamed Imoussaine is a computer manager at SALTI group and he defines MailCube as the more efficient antispam solution in the market.



SALTI group is specialised in equipment hire for buildings and public works and industry. It called upon à Vade Retro to protect workstations against all kinds of electronic threats: unwanted emails, viruses, phishing, spywares, denial of service...

Even if it used a solution from a major competitor during one year, SALTI kept facing attacks and it was polluting its computer system.

In november 2006, when SALTI's computer manager Mr Mohamed Imoussaine was fed up of maintaining manually its antispam filter, he decided to test some new solutions. He chose MailCube because it was the only solution which was able to stop 99.9% of spam during the test period.

« While the other famous solutions of competitors were unreliable, MailCube realized the higher rate of stopped spam, i.e. 99.9% », says Mohamed Imoussaine. « After 5 months of use, the solution is still as efficient. It is undeniable: MailCube is a very good value for money in reference with the market's prices, and it can not be compared with the other tested solutions ».

MailCube's filtering engine employs Vade Retro technology which is developed and continually updated by R&D Department of GOTO Software. Many customers say that MailCube appliance makes them get unshakable productivity gains.

After several months of use, workers' feedbacks are very positive. This solution enables to protect more than 220 workstations.
