Presentation of the Vade Retro Desktop antispam software

Vade Retro Desktop is an antispam software which blocks each unwanted message on your Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express or Windows Mail mail programs.

After a quick installation, Vade Retro is immediately operational at the first launching of your mail program. You can see that a toolbar has been automatically added to your Outlook, Outlook Express or Windows Mail interface.

This toolbar gives you a direct access to the different functions of your antispam software. We suggest you to discover the main assets of Vade Retro below.

An even more user-friendly interface

The new version of Vade Retro Desktop, the renowned antispam software, resumes the same principle of a user-friendly interface with a high practicability.

Thanks to a simple click on the "Vade Retro" logo in the toolbar, you accede to the homepage of your software. You will there find all relevant information about your subscription.

The five tabs (Home, Options, Lists, Statistics, Help) situated at the top of the Vade Retro dialog window allow you to surf between the different finctions of the software.

An efficient processing of incoming e-mails

All incoming messages are passing through the Vade Retro filter. Thanks to a discreete window at the bottom right of your screen, this filter indicates you that a new e-mail is waiting for you in your in-box (this option can be disabled).

You can of course decide whether or not you want the filter to be activated and whether or not the filtered messages should be moved.

By default, Vade Retro activates the options that it considers the safest for your mail program. You are then at liberty to set your software according to your needs or your taste (marking of filtered e-mails, etc... .).

A direct access to the setting of your folders

You can access directly to the setting of your unwanted messages and define within a few clicks which actions should Vade Retro undertake.

You can now set your software in order that it automatically cleans your folders.
You just have to modifiy the time (number of days) and volume (number of messages) specifications.

You also have the possibility to clear in one click the whole content of your unwanted folders.

An advanced system of lists

The tab "Lists" of the Vade Retro dialogue window allows you to manage easily the content of your red and green lists.

You can actually add or delete e-mail addreses, domains and/or IP addresses to/from your both lists, and thus indicate to Vade Retro which senders you do or do not want to receive e-mails from.

Moreover, many spams use fake senders' addresses. That's why Vade Retro developped and applied a system of temporary list which allows the users to avoid filling up their red list.

Detailed and adjustable statistics

Statistics give you relevant information about the efficiency of the Vade Retro filter. The period of time these statistics take into account can be adjusted at any time.

A table summarizes the different actions which have been undertaken by the filter engine on your mail program, and this over 4 periods already predefined.

The graphic representation, over a variable and adjustable period of time, allows you to watch closely how efficient your antispam filter can operate.
