All incoming messages go through the Vade Retro filter and an automatic tight surveillance of the e-mails placed into your messaging’s folders is carried out. Thanks to the Anti-Ads filter, all the commercial e-mails are sort in a specific folder.

A simple click on the « Vade Retro » logo in the toolbar leads you to the front page of your software. There, you have instant access to all the useful features (Home page, Options, Lists or Statistics).

The feature “Statistic” gives you information on the efficiency of Vade Retro filter through graphs and reports outlining the actions undertaken by the filtering engine regarding the incoming e-mails.

With the individual message management system, you can very simply set up a list of authorized senders (green list), decide to automatically block others (red list) from whom you do not wish to receive any messages and organize the commercial e-mails you want to receive (orange list).

Click on installation file obtained when downloading or on the CD-ROM, then follow on-screen instructions. Make sure to close all applications, especially your Outlook, Outlook Express or Windows Mail, before you start installing Vade Retro.

After installation, launch your e-mail software. Vade Retro restarts automatically and it is added in the shape of a toolbar to the functionalities of your software.

Vade Retro tab gives you access to the following functionalities: treatment, toolbar update status and rules of anti-spam filtering.

With this icon, you can easily add to your Green lists or Red lists the addresses of senders you wish to systematically accept or block messages from. An edition mode enables you to add or delete one or several addresses from your green or rd lists. You can also import addresses from a file, your contacts or a text document directly to your lists.

This feature allows you to sort manually a message in the “ads” folder created by the Vade Retro Desktop toolbar. You will have a clearer messaging interface of your inbox.

This functionality enables you to analyze the message or mail folder of your choice. It is very practical when analyzing messages received prior to the installation of Vade Retro. It thereof automatically cleans your messaging system from polluting spams.

For an optimal protection, your toolbar downloads updates for the filtering engine. To enjoy this service, you must subscribe to updates. When you click on this icon, you directly reach « Vade Retro Filter » menu from the main dialog.

At any time, you can consult the on-line Vade Retro manual by clicking on the « help » icon in the toolbar. The assistance menu will automatically appear.

Did you know that 90% of worldwide electronic messages are actually spam? E-mail is a great communication tool but it is equally a source of attacks against the security of your computer (virus, Trojan horse, botnet...) as well as against your personal data (phishing or scamming attempts).
